Challenge
Little Zen Yoga approached our design studio, Court & Graphic, seeking assistance in rebranding their identity to better reflect their mission and appeal to their target audience of parents and children aged 3-18 years old. The existing branding lacked awareness and failed to convey the studio's essence, hindering its ability to stand out in a small market.
Solution
Our team embarked on a comprehensive branding journey, beginning with in-depth research to gain insights into the studio's vision, values, and target demographic. We conducted interviews with the studio's founder, observed the community location, and analyzed competitor branding strategies to identify gaps and opportunities.

Little Zen Yoga is founded for the ever-growing student. From a very young age, the Little Zen student is taught to embrace mental and physical poise. As the student grows, so to does their soul and mind, adding levels of depth to their mindfulness and poise. Blue represents the start, stemming from an initial state — adding new levels of color representative of stability and growth.
Color & Type
Color perception varies among individuals due to cultural, personal, and physiological factors. What may be appealing or harmonious to one person might not resonate the same way with another. Although color theory offers guidelines for combinations and harmonies, it's not an exact science. There are numerous color schemes and variations within each, requiring experimentation and iteration to find the ideal combination. For Little Zen Yoga, we aim to strike the perfect balance of inspiration, joy, and presence, ensuring that our designs are enjoyable and relatable for children.
Our designs evoke feelings of tranquility and playfulness, fostering a connection between mind, body, and spirit. The Latin typeface features simple and geometric elements designed to complement the loopless Thai type, which boasts wide proportions and airy negative space. This harmonious blend creates a visually appealing and versatile typographic solution suitable for various design applications.
